the sun comes out ... Mother Nature, thank you!

We have been missing the sun so much lately!

Speaking of which I've included a picture of someone (who this summer MADE A VERY WISE DECISION), could be anyone YOU and I know, who ,today 'as we speak', is sitting on a beautiful sandy Caribbean beach in the sunshine ... OUTSIDE !!!

I wish you a WARM day ... at home!!

Read a good English story, rent an English video, watch an English TV program, go on the WEB to an ESl site, listen to the news on ( NEVER MIND!). Or, I have a better idea, visualize a warm place and feel the sun shinning down on you, sipping a fruit cocktail ... and have a chat with the English speaking tourist sitting right next to you. 

Then you can practice INTRODUCING yourself.

Good 'chilly-frosty-freezing-frigid-really cold' morning!

Winter has come back to BLAST us with Arctic air and a northerly wind!

And some snow as well!

I have to go out this morning and I am going to BUNDLE UP

because there's also some snow to shovel!

P.S. My teeth are already CHATTERING at the thought!

Well I'm back and I've survived. I have to thank my neighbour, Alain who got his snow-blower out and did most of the 'job'! I stopped for lunch at this little Greek restaurant in Pointe-aux-Trembles that makes the BEST souflaki 'in town', really THE BEST! While I was there, I met an ex-student, Dominique. I was happy to see her and we reminisced! She remembers always looking forward to coming to class and having FUN! Her comment was, « 'Pi, c'était pas platte! C'était vivant!» And I remember the EFFORTS that she put into learning and participating. She wasn't boring either! She remembered some of the activities and even the classmates she had worked with. So, a HAPPY lunch served with really 'YUMMY' memories!

A nice moment for today ... and the FACIAL too!

I have had a very busy week ... to say the least!

I really had a wonderful time yesterday meeting you all. I left with a great SMILE on my face. I have a feeling, and the energy was quite palpable, that we are going to have TONS of FUN! Thanks to all the 'old' students for getting things going and 'adopting' the new crew! I know that I can depend on you, you are very helpful. And you are officially going to become assistant-teachers!

OH! YES! You want to communicate, well here's your opportunity!

My NEW blog! WOW ... EEEEEE !!!

Good evening to all of you!

This is quite a thrilling experience ! My first attempt at 'blogging' !

I have been working for the past two hours at getting all the Facebook 'blog-texts' that I have shared with some you since January 1 of this new year. I wanted ALL of you to get around to reading them buttttt... The images didn't register in my copy-paste function so I will eventually reproduce some of them. Nobody will miss out!

SO from NOW ON,

With all of you in mind, this is my participation in your learning process: a daily read! And for me, an opportunity to chat with you and have a look-back on my day, recalling the FUN moments and sharing them with you. Not quite a personal journal, but a little bit of one ... We'll see where it goes and where it takes me and you!
