APPROACHING 4000 !!!

NEARLY 4000 …

What do I mean by this title?
Well, if you take a look at the last post on this blog page, just below it, scroll down right to the end, you will see today that the counter that represents the number of visitors to this blog is about to reach the number 4000.
This is so astounding to me! And thank you for beimg there!

I know that the internet will bring some unknowing visitors to this page. The ones that have “Googled” (or other search engines) some of the key words such as: words-fun-esl- or even Suzanne and ESL teacher.
What is even more surprising to me is that I can count on the fingers of my hand the comments that I have received in the past year!?

QUESTIONS ...
I have questions. Could you please enlighten me?
Why aren’t people (students, followers or visitors) who are reading these posts or using the tools, why aren't they or you writing or commenting on this blog?
Is it complicated? Is it too difficult to use the comment section?
Is it because of time restraint?

OR ... Is it a question of personality, such as:
. don’t want to make mistakes
. don’t want people to read my mistakes
  In other words ... vulnerability.
. Is it a judgement call where you think you are not well enough “equipped” to write.
. Or is it, simply, I'm too tired to do so after all this work of reading,
understanding, looking up words and expressions ...

I would really like to know!
Of course I maintain this blog because I DO LOVE to write, but also as a LEARNING opportunity which involves reading and writing!
My first objective is pedagogical. PLEASE take a few minutes to read the intro, right at the top of the blog. AND, please take the time to respond or answer a few of these questions. Either, here or in person the next time I see you.

I would really like to facilitate this learning experience and I might not be going about it in the best way.
Here is a thought I will leave you with. I find it inspiring!

NOTHING IS MORE POWERFUL
THAN WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO BELIEVE.
Thank you for reading and
thank you for taking the time.
I wouldn’t be there
if it weren’t for you!
Suzanne

NOTE: By the time I had finished writing and posting this blog, the counter had registered 4000 hits! WOW!          Today, February 21st at 11:45 a.m.

Hi! Huguette
I'm sorry! I sure didn't think of you when questioning the people visiting or using my blog. I know that you are a very loyal follower and I thank you for that.
I also knew that your mother was very sick and that a lot of your time is spent for her.
But I'm really sorry to hear that YOU are also ill. I hope that it isn't too serious!
Huguette, please take care. I'll see you once again when the time is right.

Amicalement,
Suzanne

Hi Suzanne,
This morning, my partener in love and I are busy to change the water tank....and I must wait during He is welding the metal tubes.
You know, perhaps it's not interesting for all of you, but it's a good exercise of writing my thought.
And we just put the old tank near the street and ten minutes later a man pick up it in his trailer: good thing to recycle metal. This morning I have the time to write a comment.

Suzanne, I always read your interesting blog...but I have to make an effort to answer. I'm a little bit shy, a little bit in *the hurry up time*, a little bit lazy...a really good mix to stop me. HIHIHI!!! I can laugh of me for sure.
The "Mère Thérésa" in you give us more and more....
Tank you for all, we are lucky but sometimes overloaded....by your generosity.

I use 15 minutes to write and correct my text....the time to write a chapter in French.
Have a nice day...enjoy your weekend.

Thank you Jeanne for taking the time to write a comment this morning.
So as I understand you are changing your hot water tank. And you decided to write a comment while you are waiting for your partner to finish the welding on the metal pipes.

So also I understand that your excuses that are stopping you from leaving a comment are, as you put it, “a little bit shy, in hurry, and a touch of laziness.”
You also feel overwhelmed by all the material that I am sending you! Thanks for the Mother Teresa comparison …
I suppose I’ll be going straight to heaven when I die ;)
It took you 15 minutes to compose and correct this comment.
Well … Halleluiah!!!!
And it took me that time to write back to you!
And it was a pleasure!
