MOTHER'S DAY

Here is a very short POEM
that I thought would 'hit the spot'.
Whether you are a 'mom' or not,
we are all mother's at heart.

There are ...
Hundreds of stars in the pretty sky,
Hundreds of shells on the shore together,
Hundreds of birds that go singing by,
Hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather.
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But ...
THERE IS only one mother the wide world over.

--By George Cooper

Today of all days, loads and loads of love!
If like me, your mother is no longer with you,
may she be as present as she was
in your heart and in your memories.

Hi Suzanne,

IT'S a lovely poem but this year, for the first time, my mother was not there. The Mother's day was a little sad because she missed me. I suppose that will be the same thing for all the special events for the first year but there is a proverb which says: time heals things.

Have a nice day
