«As I was lying in bed pondering
the problems of the world,
I rapidly realized that
I don't really give a rat's ass*
It's the tortoise life for me!
This is my reasoning:
1. If walking and cycling are good for your health,
the postman would be immortal.
2. A whale swims all day, only eats fish,
drinks a lot of water, and is fat.
drinks a lot of water, and is fat.
3. A rabbit runs and hops and only lives 15 years.
4. A tortoise doesn't run and does nothing,
yet it lives for 450 years.
And you tell me ... to exercise??
I don't think so!
I'm retired so, walk around me !»
For those who know me and my preferences in humour,
you will recognize my all-time favourite,
you will recognize my all-time favourite,
the lady, herself: the great MAXINE!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
* I don’t really care!

It's me again
I have another reflexion for you.
The Fall it's the time of flu and to avoid it...
Eat right!
Make sure you get your daily dose of fruit and veggies.
Take your vitamins and bump up your vitamin C.
Get plenty of exercise because it builds your immune system.
Walk for at least an hour a day,
Go for a swim,
Take the stairs instead of the lift, etc.
Wash your hands often.
If you can't, keep a bottle of antibacterial stuff around.
Get lots of fresh air. Open doors & windows whenever possible.
Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can.
Get plenty of rest.
OR
Take the doctor's approach.
Think about it....
When you go for a flu jab, what do they do first?
They clean your arm with alcohol...
Why? because Alcohol kills germs.
So...
I walk to the pub. (exercice)
I put lime in my vodka...(fruit)
Celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies
Drink outdoors on the patio.. (fresh air)
Tell rude jokes and laugh.... (eliminate stress)
Then I pass out. (rest)
The way I see it...
If you keep your alcohol levels up,
Flu germs can't get you!
Funny also!
My friend Roy from New Zealand sent me something very similar a few years ago!
Thanks for sharing!
